| As mentioned, it was a beautiful sunny day and
as soon as we left the airport we encountered
very friendly people. As you exit the airport
with luggage in hand you go up to this “taxi
kiosk”. You then tell them how many people are
in your party, where you’re going and how many
pieces of luggage and you’re given the cost of
the taxi. A very simple and effective way to get
a taxi.
We planned it that we
arrived a day early since it was the end of
January and our winters can be terrible this
time of the year. We just didn’t want a
cancelled flight to have us miss our ship. Plus
we wanted to get in the day early to relax and
extend our vacation. I would highly recommend
flying in a day early to san Juan just so you
have extra time, should your flight get delayed
or as in our case.. luggage goes missing.
