The Highlights..
Managers happy hour (free drinks)
Free buffet (cooked to order) breakfast
Pool with amazing waterfall and hot tub
Casino on site
Outback restaurant on site (try their Aussie burger)
Friendly and efficient staff
You’re greeted by very friendly and courteous staff as you exit your taxi and get checked in. As you make your way to the elevator you cannot miss the lush vegetation that makes up the indoor courtyard and the bells from the slot machines in the casino.

Everything about the hotel is excellent. The rooms were spacious and clean and perfect for the five of us. We loved the breakfast and happy hour at night. The selection at both was amazing. The drinks they make during the cocktail reception are strong and there is a wide variety to choose from. You can get two at a time and go back as many times as you want. The pool area is fantastic. It's a large, lagoon-style pool with palm trees and flowering bushes. The pool and hot tub were both extremely clean and never busy while we were there (there is towel service). There are lounge chairs at the pool that come with a canopy for those that want to get some shade.

The room was in excellent condition, smelled fresh and best of all the air condition worked. Each suite comes with a small living room area with a sofa/bed, coffee table, table with 4 chairs and TV. Since the airport is only a short distance away, our daughters sat watching the planes take off and land from the bedroom window.
Bands play till 9 or 10, or sometimes 11 just outside the casino, so if you go to bed early, ask for a room as far from the casino as possible. If you like salsa, you’ll love the music the band plays.
Computer access in room data lines, in-room TV Internet surfing at $9.95/day, or there are three free internet-connected, printer-equipped computers in the lobby.
The location is perfect. It is only a short 10-minute walk to the beach. The beach is wide and you can rent chairs for $3 or umbrellas for $10. The water was crystal clear and the surf was calm. We did notice that there were people parasailing, if you’re into that activity. The night we were there, there was a show at the beach with dancers and singers showcasing some of the Puerto Rican culture.
The Casino is small and there are no smoke-free areas. I'm not a gambler so this was not an issue for me, but if I were I would probably spend my time at one of the larger, more glitzy casinos near the beach.

The Outback Restaurant was exactly the same as every other Outback, as expected.

There are several fast food and other restaurants within walking distance. As well as many shops where you can get last minute supplies before you board your ship. We found a Walgreens not too far from the hotel where we stocked up on pop, water and others snacks for our girls.

Overall, great place to stay before or after your cruise. We plan on staying here again prior to our cruise this September.

We went out during the day and night with our 3 girls and we never felt unsafe in San Juan.

Should you have any questions about the hotel or the area of San Juan , please contact us by using the contact link at the top right of the page. We’d be very happy to assist as best as we could.
